The Beatles "Renaissance Minstrels Vol. 1"

Questo bootleg riporta in ordine diverso le canzone eseguita dai Beatles nella prime tre partecipazione al programma Ed Sullivan Show che li lanciò al pubblica americano.
Ricordiamo la scaletta delle due prime trasmissioni :

NEW YORK, 9 FEBBRAIO 1964, ED SULLIVAN SHOW ( I PARTECIPAZIONE – REGISTRAZIONE III PARTECIPAZIONE) 

I Beatles conquistano l'America e il primo approccio con il pubblico statunitense è nel seguitissimo programma "Ed Sullivan Show". Nel pomeriggio i Beatles registrarono quella che sarà trasmessa dalla CBS il 23 febbraio come la loro terza partecipazione al programma.Canteranno davanti ad un vero pubblico "Twist And Shout","Please Please Me" e "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". 

La sera andò in onda dal vivo il vero debutto americano per i quattro di Liverpoll, davanti ad un pubblico stimato di 73 milioni di spettatori !

I Beatles suonarono cinque canzoni:"All My Loving","Till There Was You","She Loves You" e ,nella seconda parte, "I Saw Her Standing There" e "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". Notevolmente emozionati i Beatles scatenaro l'isteria dei circa settecento spettatori presenti. Durante le canzoni ciascun Beatle venne presenteto con la sovraimpressione del proprio nome. Per John,oltre alla sua identità fu scritta la celebre frase "Spiacenti,ragazze,è sposato !"

 

MIAMI,16 FEBBRAIO 1964, ED SULLIVAN SHOW (II PARTECIPAZIONE) 

La seconda perfomance televisiva si svolse all'Hotel Deauville a Miami, davanti a più di tremilacinquecento persone. Una prova nel pomeriggio fu registrata ma mai messa in onda. La sera alle ore venti i Beatles suonaro dal vivo gli stessi brani della prova generale: "She Loves You","This Boy","Al My Loving","I Saw Her Standing There""From Me To You" e "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".

Beatles - Arrive Without Aging - Bootleg 1993

Come innumerevoli altri bootleg Beatles, arriva una raccolta che comprende rarità presenti in altre dischi illegali, per il piacere di tutti i collezionisti. Con 26 brani e 72 minuti di musica, è una raccolta dove è piuttosto difficile riassumere in un paragrafo o due, ma i punti salienti includono una versione di "E 'All Too Much", con alcune brevi sezioni (e testi) non riportata nel montaggio finale ; un 1963 John Lennon solista pianoforte demo di "I'm in Love", cover dei Fourmost ;  si può ascoltare poi un inedita sessione per "Penny Lane"; un take alternativo per "Norwegian Wood" (non lo stesso si trova sul Anthology ufficiale 2), e Lennon demo casa per "Cry Baby Cry" e "Hey Bulldog".  E poi evidenziamo  numerosi estratti di un famoso speciale televisivo sul "Making of Sgt. Lonely Hearts Club Band Pepper" ci permette di sentire alcune isolate tracce vocali e strumentali tratta dal mitico album. Il presente file è torrent in formato flac.

WASHINGTON, 11 FEBBRAIO 1964, WASHINGTON COLISEUM

 

 

Storico debutto dei Beatles in Nord-America; davanti a più di ottomila persone il complesso si esibisce alla Washington Coliseum e alle telecamere della CBS per un filmato da proiettare a circuito chiuso in diversi cinema americani i successivi 14 e 15 marzo.

Il fimato è ripreso originariamente su "ampex" e riprende tutti i brani del concerto ad eccezione della conclusiva "Long Tall Sally" eliminata in fase di montaggio.

La perfomance dei Beatles è caratterizzata dal delirio dei fans americani e dalla piattaforma mobile divisa sul palco centrale,che obbliga il gruppo a ruotare di 180 gradi al termine d’ogni motivo per cantare frontalemente al numeroso pubblico.

I brani del concerto sono:"Roll Over Beethoven", “From Me to You" ,"I Saw Her Standing There","This Boy", "All My Loving", "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Please Please Me", "Till There Was You", "She Loves You", "I Want To Hold Your Hand","Twist And Shout" e "Long Tall Sally".
